hakurei_reimuAs with all things in Touhou, Reimu's power and backstory are a little vague so I've filled in some of the blanks myself.
Character Name: Hakurei Reimu
Character Series: Touhou Project
What is Touhou: The Touhou Project is a series of 2D vertically-scrolling danmaku shooting games made by Team Shanghai Alice, with five fighting game spinoffs co-produced with Twilight Frontier.
Which Games: All of them! Aside from Great Fairy Wars, Reimu is in every single Touhou game, as she's the main character (along with Kirisame Marisa). However, in Shoot the Bullet, Double Spoiler, and Impossible Spellcard Reimu's an antagonist rather than the playable character. She's also a stage boss in a couple of games, namely Lotus Land Story and Imperishable Night.
Which Comics: Again, all of them, though she rarely takes the focus in any of them aside from Silent Sinner in Blue.
Age: Early 20s, I typically say 22.
Height: 5'3"
Species: Human
Job: Shrine Maiden of the Hakurei Shrine, Youkai Exterminator, and Incident Resolver.
Personality: Optimistic and Carefree, though short tempered and easily irritated.
Powers: Ability to Float, Magical Barrier Manipulation, Ability to Use the Hakurei yin-yang orbs and Invoke Shinto Gods (though she doesn't train enough to do so typically)

Fun Fact: Her Last Word is homophonous with the ultimate technique of the Hokuto Shinken school in Fist of the North Star. Though the kanji is different they're both spoke as "Musou Tensei."
Touching: She's indifferent to it, or annoyed/wary depending on the circumstances.
Hugging: She'll act annoyed and put-upon no matter who's hugging her, but she wouldn't shove away people she knows well.
Kissing: She's more than capable of exterminating humans as well as youkai.
Attempted Romance/Flirting: Reimu would either be brutally honest and direct if she has no interest, or tsundere if she actually has feelings for the person.
Fighting/Combat: She'd rather avoid it all together, but she won't shirk away from her duty to 'exterminate' youkai. However she has a kind heart and avoids bloodshed where possible, and as such prefers to do battle with the danmaku rules she invented.
Killing: Only if there's a good enough reason for it. She's pretty hard to kill, given the "limits" of her ability to float.
Anything Offensive: Reimu can be quite direct and rude herself, and the people (youkai) she associates with most are literal maneaters. However she usually turns a blind eye to that side of things.
Reading her Mind: She's nearly as honest as an oni, and as such has little to hide. Most likely she's thinking about nothing at all at any given time, or perhaps about how peaceful it is or how annoying someone is.
Powers: Reimu's most noticeable power is her innate ability to float, which manifests itself in a multitude of ways. Literal flight is the simplest example, but there's also it's application to her ultimate ability "Fantasy Nature" which allows her to float outside of reality, and become incorporeal and invincible in the process. Her powers as a miko allow her to commune with shinto gods, as well as invoke their powers (with their permission). She is capable of creating and manipulating physical barriers of energy, making them expand, move, contract, and even explode.
Yin-Yang Orbs: The Goshintai of the Hakurei Shrine, these are what allow her to exterminate youkai efficiently, and in the game they function as her options, shooting out whatever kind of shot she wishes (typically homing amulets). Additionally they're used to amplify her power, and there are eight orbs present when she uses her Musou Tensei. They can also change sizes at will, and are quite heavy in addition to being sacred objects, which are quite effective at exterminating youkai.
Ofuda/Persuasion Needles/Gohei: All weapons she uses to purify and exterminate youkai, the Ofuda are wards that she writes/creates herself, and are a key component in forming barriers and warding off evil. Persuasion needles are simply Ofuda channeling power and wrapped up into a sharp pointed needle. All her tools are capable of striking and harming spirits, youkai, and other sorts of monsters.
Other stuff: Reimu never actually knew her parents at all, or if she did it's never stated in canon. As such the closest thing she's had to a parental figure would be either Rinnosuke or Yukari and, as one is a half youkai and the other a fully obnoxious and ostentatious youkai, her perspective on humans and youkai isn't quite that of a normal human's. As she spends so much time with youkai and monsters, she sees them as people as much as she does normal humans.
